Xoom Adds Bank Deposit Service to Most Major Banks in Mexico

Money sent to a BBVA Bancomer bank account available in 15 minutes

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 16th, 2007 - Xoom.com, the fastest growing online money transfer company, announced today the expansion of their Bank Deposit service to Mexico. Consumers with friends and family in Mexico can send money directly to a beneficiary's bank account at most major banks, including Banamex, Banorte, BBVA Bancomer, HSBC, Santander Serfin and Scotiabank Inverlat. Bank Deposits to BANSEFI and BANSEFI's L@ Red de la Gente will be available at the end of the month.

In addition to Bank Deposit, Xoom customers can send money to their beneficiary for Cash Pickup at more than 5,200 locations throughout Mexico. Money transfers to Mexico start at $2.99. Customers can send up to $2,500 for $4.99 and can choose from a variety of ways to fund the transaction online, including a checking account, credit card or PayPal.
