What are the Bank Deposit requirements in the Netherlands?

In order for your bank deposit to be processed in a timely manner, please make sure you provide all information needed for the transfer. In the Netherlands, deposits are available in Euros (EUR) and the following beneficiary and bank information is required:
  • Bank Name, as bank deposits are available to all banks in the Netherlands.
  • The correct IBAN (The IBAN code is a country code "NL" followed by sixteen alphanumeric characters)
  • The correct BIC/SWIFT Code (8 or 11 characters)
  • The entire name of your recipient as it appears on the recipient's Bank Account
  • Complete address, including the City
  • A valid phone number (city code+domestic number)
Please do not use any dashes or special characters while filling out this information.

Bank transfers to most major banks are deposited in 2-3 business days to the recipient's bank. However, each bank operates differently and may have additional rules and regulations regarding deposits that could add additional time before the transfer is completed. Please ask the recipient to check with their bank for more details.
