If it has been less than 30 minutes since you authorized your transfer, we will refund you within 3 business days of your cancel request if your transfer has not already been picked up, deposited or delivered to your recipient.
If it has been 30 or more minutes since you authorized your transfer, we will need to confirm that your transfer has not already been processed by our partner for pick up, deposit or delivery to your recipient.
- If we are able to cancel the transaction, then you will be issued a refund. When you use a U.S. bank account to fund your transaction, it will take 1-4 business days for the funds to be processed before they reach Xoom. Much like a handwritten check, the funds need to be cleared by the U.S. Federal Reserve. Your refund will be issued as soon as the funds reach Xoom. You should expect it to take a total of 5 – 10 business days before the funds are credited back into your bank account.
- If the transaction cannot be cancelled, you will receive an email indicating that the transaction was completed.
